Accountant at Speed North America, trained in France. Four years of closing the books, building budgets and steering cash in an industrial company, and an ERP implementation I led from start to finish. Now I'm bringing all of it to the US.
How I got here.
I started in 2022 as an accountant at Dulsa France, an industrial SME, while I was still studying business management. I learned the job from the ground up: supplier and customer accounts, bank reconciliations, VAT returns, inventory counts, month-end accruals.
Two years later I moved into management control, and the questions changed. Not just "are the books right?", but "what are they telling us?": which product lines make money, where the cash goes, which budget line is drifting and what to do about it. I reported directly to the CFO.
Along the way I completed a Master's in Accounting, Control and Audit, the French graduate track to chartered accountancy. In October 2026 I moved to Ohio to join Speed North America.
The work I'm proudest of so far.
The challenge: the company ran on scattered legacy tools, and the finance team needed one reliable system.
What I did: configured Sage X3, migrated the data from the old tools, and trained the users so the team could actually work in it.
What I learned: an ERP project is half accounting, half people. The system only works if the data is clean and the team trusts it.
I built the cash flow forecast and tracked working capital (DSO, DPO, DIO), then worked on getting customers to pay faster. I also assessed customer credit risk and set up follow-up of payment schedules.
Every month I compared actuals to budget, explained the gaps and recommended corrective actions to the CFO. I tracked OPEX and CAPEX against approved budgets.
I analyzed margins product line by product line so management could decide where to push and where to rethink pricing.
I ran the month-end close and produced the P&L reporting for senior management. Earlier, as an accountant, I calculated the accruals and helped prepare the annual financial statements and the cash flow statement.

Where I'm headed.
My goal is to grow toward chartered accountancy: the CPA path here in the US, built on my French training in accounting, control and audit.
Two countries, two sets of rules, one way of working: get the numbers right, then make them useful to the people who run the business.
